Birth – of a child, a vision, a garden. Anything really that has a starting point. Spring is the time when we think of the new and as the sun peeks through the diminishing clouds of winter we get the feeling that life can go on and summer will bring thoughts of picnics and warmth and color to our skin (note to self: wear sunblock SPF 100 this year).
Our good friends became grandparents for the first time today. Such a feeling of accomplishment as this new little one enters their lives. The proud smiles, the heartfelt love, the tears of joy, the poopy diapers… it’s all good! “Here you go son, he needs changing”. Yea, I love being a grandpa too.
